How to get multiple companies on the same marketing page?

When you have over 40 companies under your umbrella, it’s not easy to get everyone on the same page. In the case of House of HR, their companies did not put an equal amount of care, knowledge and expertise in their marketing. This led to inconsistenties in both marketing plans and strategies of these companies.

As a leading European HR service provider, having a consistent marketing plan and strategy across the board is imperative. House of HR agreed with our assessment and asked us to come up with a training solution. We accepted the challenge with a lot of hunger!

Having ten PowerHouses that represent over 40 boutiques makes it difficult to create one consistent marketing plan for all. The goal was to help create a solid fundamental base on which each entity could build their own marketing plan and strategy, leading to better scalability. This led us to creating a growth marketing roadshow!

Our training process

The Growth Marketing Roadshow

The growth marketing roadshow was a series of training sessions at the 10 largest companies within House of HR, the so-called PowerHouses. With all ten of these companies, we went through the following stages:

  1. A scoping call, with the goal of gauging the 3 biggest marketing challenges of the company (+/- 1h).
  2. A workshop at the client’s offices, which consisted of: a power session in growth marketing of 1 hour and a 2,5 hour brainstorming session revolving around the aforementioned 3 biggest marketing challenges.

During the power session we took a deep dive in the rapidly changing world of growth marketing and experimentation. We addressed the concept of full funnel marketing & applied it to HR practices. Think of a variety of tools, case studies and more. During the brainstorming session we did an assessment beforehand to be better informed about their main marketing challenges.

We are now 2 roadshows deep into our tour. The first two roadshows have given these Powerhouses a plan to start tackling these challenges the growth marketing way. In the end, going through these 3 steps makes us confident that each company will embrace experimentation.
